The Sailor's Ditch Bag from Watershed is so more than a typical dry bag. This fully submersible bag is outfitted with a truly amazing airtight/watertight YKK zipper. Featuring both center handles and shoulder straps, this bag can be used as a duffel or a backpack. Also included is an inflate/purge valve that allows you to remove air to conserve space or add air to increase buoyancy. Watershed products are all made with an air-tight, watertight seal that will stay watertight below a 300 foot deep submersion. All seams are fused with overlapping radio frequency welds, to turn multiple fabric pieces into one single piece of material. The Kryptothane fabric has 5 times the abrasion resistance of PVC fabric. Polyurethane is applied in layers to 420 denier nylon packcloth. The end result never cracks, fades, or loses flexibility, even in cold weather.
