Big Creek Waterproof Backpack BLK 1200

The Big Creek backpack from Watershed is more than a typical roll-top backpack. The patented ZipDry closure makes this a fully submersible (Class 5) backpack. Each pack also features removable padded shoulder straps and a removable waist belt.

Watershed products are all made with an air-tight, watertight seal that will stay watertight below a 300 foot deep submersion. Field and Stream magazine said of the patented ZipDry closure, "Think of a freezer sack amped to Navy Seals proportions." All seams are fused with overlapping radio frequency welds, to turn multiple fabric pieces into one single piece of material.

The Kryptothane fabric has 5 times the abrasion resistance of PVC fabric. Polyurethane is applied in layers to 420 denier nylon packcloth. The end result never cracks, fades, or loses flexibility, even in cold weather.

To close, snap the seal shut at one end. Then, working towards the opposite end, snap the seal together with your first three fingers and the thumbs of both hands. Leave 2 inches open at the end to bleed out excess air, or to inflate the bag for increased buoyancy. Finally, snap the last corner shut.

Tear-Aid Patch Kit - Type A

Each TEAR-AIDŽ repair patch is made from an exceptionally tough, matte finish, abrasion resistant, elastomer that resists puncture and tearing. It is combined with an aggressive adhesive formulated for high bond strength to a variety of surfaces such as canvas, leather, rubber, nylon, most plastics, paints, aluminum, stainless steel, fiberglass, polyurethane, polyethylene, polypropylene, vinyl and vinyl coated. TEAR-AIDŽ provides a simple and easy method of patching holes and tears, as well as an excellent protective film solution.

This Kit is includes TYPE A Tear-Aid, which is for all materials except vinyl and PVC products. Works well with canvas, rubber, neoprene, plastic, nylon, fiberglass, aluminum, stainless steel, polyethylene, polypropylene, gor-tex, dacron, or polyester. See Type B for vinyl or PVC products.
